Kelli Armstrong is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Biology and served as a service learning coordinator and American Humanics Program coordinator. Additionally, she attended the Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans.
Kelli is fulfilling her life’s calling by serving in the professional field of women’s healthcare. She served as a Labor and Delivery RN at LSU Charity University Hospital until its closure after Hurricane Katrina in 1995. She was profoundly impacted by working alongside many healthcare professionals in extreme conditions during Hurricane Katrina, whose first priority was giving the best patient care possible in extreme conditions.
For the next decade, she served as a Labor and Delivery RN at Emory University. She has also developed an interest in exploring the use of essential oils in tandem with traditional medicine to support patient care. Kelli is currently pursuing a Level 3 Clinical Aromatherapist Certification. On a personal level, she is a busy sports mom to four children with a love for DIY home remodeling and entertaining family and friends with her culinary delights.
