Dr. Harbison is a proud dual alumna of Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. Dr. Harbison was a high school biology and chemistry teacher for six years. During her tenure as an educator, Dr. Harbison developed a mentoring program, The Young Ladies Clubs, to discuss topics such as dating, teen sex, hygiene, etiquette, and setting career goals. Thus, Dr. Harbison embraced the call on her life and completed her medical school education at the University of Iowa Roy J. & Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine and OBGYN residency at Mercer University in Macon, GA.

Dr. Kamesha Harbison is a board-certified OBGYN physician who takes great pride in serving the community of South Columbus. She has served the women of the Chattahoochee Valley for ten years. The legacy of her service has welcomed over 1000 new babies to families, as well as providing OBGYN services to women in the community. Moreover, Dr. Harbison has served as a community organizer, orchestrating “Community Baby Showers” to provide mothers with much-needed essentials and prenatal education.

My name is Tyler Fennoy-Thomas, I’m an LPN here at Harbison Covenant! I started off as an OB patient of Dr. Harbison’s so I have a behind the scenes feel of what it’s like to be her patient. I can say she’s AMAZING! My husband Erin and I just started our little family we are proud parents to our little girl Mia(that Dr. Harbison delivered), and our first fur baby Chai! My husband and I love checking out new restaurants and are always open to recommendations! In my free time I love to cook for my family, take Mia to the library and museums, and relaxing on the couch with Chai. I had the opportunity to work with some of the patients physically, but I now work remotely from Charlotte due to my husband’s job promotion,  so you won’t get to see me in the office. (sad face) While in nursing school I received the leadership award for being the nurse always willing to help and take care of patients. I truly believe that we have the obligation to make everyone that comes to our office feel welcome and a part of our family.
